The Zionsville Optimist Club is excited to announce their 41st annual “Hit-the-Bricks” 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, September 30.
The Children’s Home is proud to be the first-ever Spotlight Organization for Hit-The Bricks 5K/3K Run + Walk event, organized by the Zionsville Optimist Club. This event features the 5k race/walk utilizing elements of Zionsville’s Rail Trail and also looping through the historic downtown area before returning to the start/finish at the Town Hall. Additionally, there will be a 3K walk (not timed) for those that may want a more leisurely Saturday morning still through Zionsville.
“The Zionsville Optimist Club has supported our children’s mission for many years. We are honored to be selected as their first ever Spotlight Organization and look forward to a wonderful event. This will be the 41st anniversary of their event, and this race has a positive reputation for serious competitors and fun-runners/walkers, alike. We hope all our supporters will join us on this fun and meaningful day!”
