Wills and Bequests

These gifts will be invested to insure quality services for youth in the future. In order to make a bequest, you should first speak with your attorney. Your attorney can help you include a bequest to Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home in your estate plan. When you write or review your will, ask your attorney to include such words as these: “I hereby give___% of my estate (or specific assets) to Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home, 515 W. Camp Street, Lebanon, Indiana 46052 for its general purpose.”

Stock Gift 

A gift of appreciated stock  you have held more than one year qualifies for a tax deduction for the full amount of the gift, and you pay no capital gains tax on the appreciation. To initiate a stock transfer, you will need to provide appropriate information to your broker. Please contact the Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home Foundation at for stock transfer instructions. We would also like to be aware of your gift so an acknowledgement may be made. The Home has an on-grounds school and funds are needed for educational equipment, books and school supplies.

The year-end holiday season is a wonderful time to think about the youth at Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home.

These gifts in any amount are made in memory of a deceased loved one or in honor of a family member or friend.

Miscellaneous Gift

The United Methodist Children’s Home has an on-going need for unrestricted funds. If you’ve ever visited the  campus, you’ve witnessed first-hand the positive impact of the Annual Fund. And as a donor, you will make a positive difference in the  lives of children and youth throughout Indiana.

These gifts during Easter are a wonderful way for our youth to feel renewed and loved.
