The Home serves youth who have experienced sexual abuse, neglect, family violence and trauma. The Children’s Home offers a safe, healing environment with our proven trauma-informed care.

Our Services

The focus of our comprehensive healing care is to provide youth a safe place to live. The services include therapeutic counseling, psychiatric care, medical and dental care, aftercare, spiritual development and the acclaimed Teaching Family Model.

Counseling

Counseling & Psychiatric Services

Through the counseling services, residents are assigned a therapist who provides clinical services such as individual, group and/or family counseling. Psychiatric services help facilitate positive change among our youth.

Requests for admission may be made by telephone, letter or e-mail. Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home accepts referrals from the Indiana Department of Child Services, Juvenile Probation, private placements and other sources.
